Looks like Bogan and Mason are leading contenders for Least Likely to Be Back.

Mason I am ready to give up on, but I do wonder whether Bogans just needs another year to grow into the Spurs' defensive schemes. Hmmm. Is there another quality wing defender we could pick up? Who is available?

So the basic 7 are easy to figure out. As for the others...

Unfortunately, I think Bonner will be back. He's a shooting big man who already knows the system, and for whatever reason, Pop seems to trust him. Hopefully, it will be in very small capacities, as Bonner can produce in the regular season. I could go the rest of my life without seeing Bonner play another playoff minute and be perfectly happy, but I fear Pop will become enamored again once he sees Bonner splashing threes during the season.

I think Hairston will return and make a crack at the rotation. I think Temple earned himself a spot in training camp as well, but it's hard to see much beyond that.

And I am still just hoping against hope that Splitter doesn't get a case of the Scolas.

Great job on the poll, really neat to look at the % statistics for what people think/want for the roster (I'm a stats guy ). I'm really surprised 37% actually think RJ is going to opt out. There's no way imo

Unless the FO can get another player to spread the floor I believe that Bonner will return. They may reluctantly offer him the vet min simply because there isn't another option out there. He know he has sucked in these last two post seasons but as a role player off the bench he is does contribute during the regular season. And does anyone think that Pop will take a chance on an unknown?

That would be funny as if the Celtics end up winning it all this June. Damn, make that sad instead of funny!

Mason, Bogans & Jefferson be gone already. I mean not only leave the team but, leave the city, leave the state and , even leave the country and go play ball in Iraq or Iran. What a total waste of talent. 3 deadbeats!!!

    o Guys,

    Greetings!

Ok, here is the thing: Duncan, Super Manu, Hill and the Blair Witch Project will be back, plus possibly we can acquire Splitter right? the rest can be trade bait...

How about we get Raja Bell, possibly Ben Wallace, these are defenders who can really come off the bench and give us a spark defensively....

Then we make a bid for stars: how about Bosh?

Then, we acquire a good rookie from the draft, someone who can make an impact right away....

Plus, the Spurs need to bring back Asst Coach PJ Carlesimo, ins ute Bowen as defensive trainer....

And you know what, the Spurs are back in contention!!!!

    Go Spurs go!!!!!!

    Manu rules forever!
