After twenty seasons Law & Order has finally been cancelled :-(

What sucks for the fans is that there will be no ending. The presumption was that there would be another season to wrap things up. The last episode will just be the last episode for this season. S. Epatha Merkerson was leaving the show anyways, and maybe they'll have a party for her character. Not much of a send off for the flagship show that by the fall will have spawned three spinoffs.

I only ever watched "Law & Order: Cutie Pie (CI)" with Vincent D'Onofrio, but with the NBC/USA switch offs, I could never keep up and eventually lost track of it completely. I'm not sure if he's even still on it.

This sucks. The show only needed one more season to break Gunsmoke's record of being the longest running tv show. It will only be tied now. Jack McCoy is a pimp and badass. My favorite babe on Law and Order was Elizabeth Rohm.

RIP L&O, although I pretty much expect TNT to pick it up or at least make a couple of movies. There is certainly precedent for that.

It was, but got progressively worse flailing around for ratings. Much of the final two seasons was downright laughable. The first three seasons were some of the best tv ever made, though.

I agree. Season six is when it declined noticeably, but the season's last episode was good.
