OWNED
Man he sure got owned.........
Bruce really did get the short end of the stick tonight. I understand that Allen's comments might have influenced the refs. I understand that it's important to call a tight game. But Bruce was hit with bad call after bad call.
Ray certainly got what he wanted tonight. And in the end, it didn't even matter.
anyone else see that shove on the first play of the game by ray? It was off ball after he had passed it up when they started to go the other way.
Yep, or the foul on Bowen on that Ray Allen drive. Oh wait, you couldn't have seen it, because it didn't happen!![]()
Ray reminds me opf the kid in the back seat that screams to his parents that his older sibling is messing with him. "He's touching me!"![]()
Yeah it pisses me off that all a guy has to do is cry about the way someone is guarding him, to get the refs to give him his way.
Okay, Mikey, now tell us how you REALLY feel about the situation. You ed.

All of you all are absolutely correct. For all the problems with NBA officiating, the one that drives me insane beyond all else is the robot predictability of refs giving in to some one's whining. Just say it and you'll get it. But you know it will never change because Stern has heard all this for over 25 years now and the league has only grown. Why should he change it?

Spurs Thump Sonics
Ray Allen Watch: His 25 on that bad ankle wasn't nearly as notable as the five fouls that Bruce Bowen picked up.
Apparently Allen's griping (and maybe sympathy for his injury) led to a drastic change in fouls called for him (or against Bowen).
It's hard to dismiss the ongoing skepticism about NBA reffing when whining seems to be effective.
You are scaring me Mikey...
