How do you know if the signed jersey on Ebay is real or not? I saw some pretty nice signed jerseys on there but I am not sure if it was real or not. I don't want to get screwed over.

I would look at their history. If they have sold other signed jerseys then e-mail the previous buyers and ask if they had been authenticated.
look at history and look for COA
certificate of authenticity
also ask where they obtained the signature
I get the biggest kick out of people who fall for that Certificate of Authenticity crap.
There's no WAY the signature on the item could be fake. The one on this piece of paper is REAL!
for Signed Jersey I would make it a guarantee to ONLY buy it from a reputable dealer, if you reallly want to feel secure, because who knows on Ebay you're shooting craps when it comes to Signed memorabilia.
Who knows though? you might get the real thing.
70% of the signed jerseys on eBay are fakes.
