I'm not usually quick to start new threads, but it just seems like Amar'e's utter lack of any technique or effort on the defensive end is so notable that it merits its own discussion.

I mean, what is he is not doing out there is the stuff of legend. Our children's children will tell tales of Stouemire standing, stiff legged, guarding no one in particular as Gasol and Odom rolled to the hoop time and again for uncontested layups. And the rebounding... yikes.

Suns fans, what the heck has happened to this guy? He was never a good defender, but this is just embarrassing.
