I play the skin flute.
I've been playing the out of my clarinet lately because Treme inspired me. I also play guitar. And a little piano.
I'm not in a band and I don't perform or jam with anybody, but I can read music and play pretty well by ear. It's just fun.
Who else is an amateur musician? What do you play?
I play the skin flute.
Just so long as you're tooting your own horn and not someone else's.
I can rock the kazoo and play one mean triangle.
I hope to pick up the tambourine one day.
Seriously though, all I do is a little DJing (hip-hop, house, trance), remixing, and some music production.
Have taken a couple failed attempts at learning the piano/keyboard. It keeps finding its way back on the to-do list.
I scratch a little and normally do Funk House, but I gave that up a while ago...I really wish that I kept going with the piano lessons, though.
I play guitar and bass mostly. I've got a drum set and keyboard/piano that I try to learn on but it's a bit difficult. The drums only because I don't have the cymbals and the hi-hat is all screwed up and I haven't had the money to fix it.
I wanna try to record some stuff at home, but that's an expensive proposition.
i can play clarinet, saxophone, piano, a little trumpet, and drums.
Tell me about it.....

Clearly Asian. You're parents made you?
Trombone is the most vile instrument ever made.
Guitar and bass are my main instruments. Play a little keyboard (scales and basic chord shapes). Would like to play harmonica.
^ that's the exact model, btw.
Have had the good fortune to perform with the Austin Lyric Opera, the San Angelo and Sherman Symphonies, as well as conferences in New Orleans, Seattle, Chicago, Dallas, and San Antonio. Most of the time it's just for fun or for our church but occasionally pick up a paying gig.
Clarinet for me too! I play for my church and in a community orchestra here in AZ.
