1. Sash (Manu/Dragic stopper)
2. JJ Barea (Limited minutes he isn't a terrible player)
3. Leandro Barbosa
4. Roger Mason (If you watched any Spurs game this year you know why, dude isn't even D League level.)
Rank these guys in order of your preference if you had to have them on your team..tough choices..
-Roger Mason..
-Leandro Barbosa..
-JJ Barea..
- Sasha Vujacic..

To rank 4 crappy players? Kind of hard...
Vujačič should be the best when he doesn't try to do too much and just play good D and shoot open shots. But with him, that is a rarity...
Mason is definetly the worst.
Vuj interrupted the malaise for us in Game 5.
It was a chic move by Jackson to insert him there and Vuj responded admirably.
I think each person will rank the player who plays for their team last.
1. Barea
2. Barbosa
3. Vujacic
4. Mason
Probably... good theory![]()
Well, even though I hate JJB,watching the other 3 play makes me appreciate the little fella.
Barea
Sasha
Barbosa
Mason
JJB (cheap and won't complain about role)
Sasha (giant whining , but has had some success in big games)
Barbosa (grossly overpaid and underachieving, especially in big games)
Mason (complains about role while monumentally sucking, abysmal playoff failure)
Come on people. Sasha is easily the worst player on that list. He played good defense for a couple games in short spurts against Dragic. Don't let that blind you. If you watched the last two games you saw every positive contribution Sasha made to the team all season.
Familiarity breeds contempt.
Spurs fans would be very happy if Mason had made a contribution in any two playoff games the last two seasons. Mason makes Sasha look like Kobe.
At least Sasha tries to play a lick of defense. Both Mason/Sasha suck at shooting however.
I'll take Barbosa first and the midget last. Toss up between Mace and .
Sasha is supposed to be a shooter. That's supposed to be his specialty and he is a career 39% shooter. In other words, he can't do anything. Last night was his second best game of the season for the Lakers... and he was the reason we almost lost the game.
cliffnotes
-shooter who can't shoot
- highlight of season is single handedly causing the Lakers blow an 18 point lead in a pivotal game 6.
Damn, thats tough... all 4 have upsides and downsides.
Barbosa is actually playing well for a role player but is overpaid.
Sasha can do some damage if he decides to play with some balls.
Mason was good last season but decided to quit and play with an injury this season.
Barea can do some damage too off the bench but is too inconsistent.
Impressive, but Mason laughs at such weak attempts at sucking.
His playoff PER was -7.4, that's negative seven point four. It takes a truly determined effort to record a negative PER. His offensive rating was 32 while his defensive rating was 114. The Spurs were outscored by nearly a full point per possession while Mason was on the court. That goes beyond mere poor play and may actually be proof of a plan to sabotage his own team.
Nice try by Sasha, but RMJ has this one locked up.
I didn't even know that was possible. That's awesome.
