May 29th article from Valencia sports website say (roughly) that Pietrus has not yet received a renewal offer and no decision will be made without input from the new coach.

I would not mind taking a chance with him at all. He seems to have the size and athleticism to be a very good perimeter defender. He is very athletic, but still not a good offensive player. I have only seen him play in a limited amount for France, but I like his game.

Bad news is that he is going to turn 30.

Florent Pietrus is a free agent. He will likely re-sign with Valencia but they haven't found a financial agreement so far.

For the NBA, he would be a very short and light PF. It's going to be difficult for him to overcome that even with all the energy and intensity he play with. Saying that, Knicks will sign a 35 years old Prigioni so everything is possible...
