That's why I could never live over there. Visit, yes but never live.
This is why people kill themselves in the Pacific Northwest...![]()

its harder to leave physical evidence when it rains
i love the rain, plants are green and everything appears clean and like the sound when it hits metal roofs.
i could easily live there
I moved up here from San Antonio, & once loved the rain. It's definately gotten old this year.
Wish we could trade you guys...Maybe take some of our smog for some of your rain...![]()
I don't mind the rain here. I mean, it does get annoying once in awhile but, overall, I'm cool with it.
Yep...
May 2010 is the third wettest day in our history.
I have a friend who lives in Vancouver
Gorgeous city, temperatures are much nicer than the ones we have in Eastern Canada
But main, the rain........
no..........
Unbeavable...
When I lived in Olympia, Wa., it wasn't unusual to go 3 weeks without seeing the sun, except in the summer. But the rain in the NW isn't like rain in Texas where you get real rain coming down in drops or buckets. It's more of a steady spray-like mist and doesn't really stop people from doing everything they need to do.
Hopefully this weekend will be somewhat dry I've got some yard work to catch up on lol
Me too!Fortunately the forecast is calling for a nice day tomorrow.
yea looks like monday and tuesday should be nice also then back to rain haha.. well at least thats what the weather men is saying, you know how that goes we will probably end up with snow
No, sleet....
dont u guys need the rain? hows ur state/country water cachements?
Wow . . . and I always thought it was because of the Blazers.
Here in WA state, there was concern that there wouldn't be enough snowpack. But now looks to be okay. Not sure about in Oregon.
For those of us on the eastern slopes of the cascades, we heavily rely on snowpack for irrigation for all the crops that much of the world consumes. (Apples, pears, cherries, peaches, nectarines, & apricots.)
Oregon's snowpack is okay. The east side of the cascades definitely relies on the snowpack more than the west. The east side is the high desert in Oregon.
Beautiful day today! Finally...
