Stephen Smith is right, the Heat are the number 1 seed in the East, without Shaq they should still be able to handle Haywood and Thomas.
Stephen A. Smith is an idiot and anything he says is highly suspect. Washington is playing extremely well and should be able to steal this game if Shaq is truly out...

Michele BoyToya said Shaq won't play.

I think they are resting Shaq in the light of Etan also being out or slowed down.

Tony said that Eva is at Cannes Film Festival right now.

I hope he can play w/o her watching.

You know...what kind of Spurs' fan goes to a freaking film festival right in the middle of the playoffs, especially when her boyfrind is a starter for them..

That takes Eva down a notch or two in the Hot factor.

    ShaQ won't play?

    GREAT!

that would make Dwyne Wade so exhausted even before the EC finals starts...

That tosses salad in a big way. I made my bet before ESPN knew he wasn't going to play. Oh well, at least I happen to be a little up in vbucks.

A deep thigh bruise is debilitating. The muscle just stops working properly. If it's used to propel a 325 pound, seven foot body around for 48 minutes every other day it can be a problem.

The Wiz are so friggin mentally weak. They are going to be emotionally destroyed if they lose this game.

One thing I've noticed about the Heat this year, at least in the few games I've seen, is that they are good at closing out games. Combine that with the mentally weak Wizards and they'll steal it if it's close.

The Wiz need to learn to run an offense instead of raining 3-point shots at the first opportunity. The Wiz also need to learn to defense the pick-and-roll, like having the bigman actually there to show.

They were down by 5 with a minute ten to go, got an offensive board six feet from the basket and dribbled it back out for a defended 22 footer. Terrible shot selection. I don't think they scored another point after that. I guess the Wizards think they are playing a Rock n Jock invitational.
