You're right. 2-0 is the new 3-0 in this series.
We'll see if we've learned the fine art of murderous intent.
Finish it.
It is after 6am here but it is time to start this thread already. A win tonight and Boston stays alive. A loss means season over for the Celts.

2-0 also woke up the Suns and started a Slovenian street fight.
Gotta win in Boston first.

Must win for Boston tonight with this re ed format they have set up.
You should a brought it up in the intervening 25 years.
I don't care how long its been its still re ed.
First Rivers with the double technical thing.
Now you.

I don't see what the big deal is about this format. LA doesn't even have a real home court advantage.
The players chose this format. If they didn't want it they'd change it back.
tough one for celts to take a game away from fakers....but its not impossible....
I don't get the griping about the format. It should theoretically produce better games, as there is less travelling/jet lag.
Lets just hope the officials are not as over bearing this game. Last game was so damn boring.
Apparently Lebron will be courtside at the game. I see you attention whorin', Lebron.
Does anybody outside of Laker fans really care about this series? It is so predictable that LA will win it is unwatchable.
2 were blowouts???
Yes you have won 4 of 5. One of them was a blowout which was game 1. The only other game that wasn't super close was the xmas day game back in 2008. You won by like 7 points or something like that. It was compe ive most of the way. The other 2 games were 1 point victories in Boston.
You think that little of the Celtics? Wow that's cold. If anyone think the Celtics are not capable of winning they are fools.
Yeah that's what the Mavericks thought too when they played the Heat. It's amazing how little faith even Celtics fans have in their team.
This Laker team is no where near that Mav team. The series is likely over all ready but it is definitely over if Boston loses tonight.
Most people here said the Celtics would kill the Lakers. Now all of a sudden they can't win if they go down 2-0? Do you know anything about history? The '69 Lakers with West, Wilt and Baylor went up 2-0 on the Celtics and lost to a Celtics team that finished in 4th place in their division. These Celtics are former champions. Never underestimate a former championship team. If the Lakers do, they are toast.
Thanks Namlook. You have most definitely changed my perspective on this issue. You are right. Most people totally thought Boston would massacre the Lakers. The '69 Lakers also have so much to do with the 2010 Lakers; I did not put them together though until you said something.
There are many lessons to be learned by history.
