Laker BlogThe Los Angeles Police Department declared an unlawful assembly at 11th and Figueroa streets near Staples Center minutes after the Lakers beat the Celtics.
At least nine people have been arrested on su ion of being drunk in public and inciting a riot.
Boisterous crowds are gathering on several street corners as officers in riot gear and on horseback are patrolling the area.
Police officials said declaring an unlawful assembly legally allows officers to begin arresting people.
