Perkins Was the Difference

Lakers were shooting horribly. All the Celtics needed was for someone to blockout. Perkins is the Celtics best player at doing that. Rasheed is so soft on rebounding. He also is not used to heavy minutes. Celtics ran out of steam because of that.

Yep. Losing Perkins was the death knell for the Celtics. He's lethal. Powe was as well. They were nuts to let Powe walk away.

The only reason Garnett even went off that was due to Sheed spreading the floor.

Not to mention Sheed's turnaround magically becoming money that game as entered into his, historical, Laker Killer Mode. He played better in game 7 than Perkins did the entire playoffs.
