Spurs Host Free NBA Draft Party at High Velocity Sports Bar
at The JW Marriott Thursday, June 24 at 6 p.m.
SAN ANTONIO, June 17, 2010 – The NBA Draft is set for Thursday, June 24 in New York, but the real action will take place in San Antonio at the Spurs free NBA Draft Party at High Velocity Sports Bar at the JW Marriott for all Spurs fans starting at 6 p.m.
Spurs radio play-by-play announcer Bill Schoening will host the night, as fans watch the NBA Draft Coverage live on ESPN. The festivities include food and drink specials, appearances by the Spurs Silver Dancers and The Coyote, and a unique photo opportunity for fans to take photos with their own camera with the NBA Championship trophies. Prizes and giveaways, including Spurs and Silver Stars tickets, will also be distributed throughout the night.

got that email earlier today... might go but probably not.
Mayhaps this means the Spurs will not do the draft-and-stash procedure that we've been worried about.
They may be looking to trade for a higher pick...why would they hold a draft party if this wasn't the case.
Should be interesting...
How hilarious would it be if they held this big party and then traded all their picks and then pulled a Georgios Printezis right at the end of the draft. Haha.
