    No kidding.

Those lamps can get very expensive for some makes and models. That one is $199 from Epson:

    ELPLP54 lamp

At least Epson is good about keeping updated drivers on line, and other related software:

    EX 51 Drivers & Downloads

    And general:

    EX51 Multimedia Projector

    YW...

I recently downloaded drivers for a printer/scanner that must be 8-10 years old for my new computer, so I knew exactly where to find the info. The CX 7800. I was slightly surprised to see they had updated drivers for the old beast for windows Vista and windows 7. It appears they support their stuff far longer than Bill Gates, or Hewlett Packard does.

its got a 4000 hr bulb it has 1100 hours on it. replacements can be found for about $149-$169 online.

Typical bubl life is 2-3 years depending on your usage.

My other projector i bought in 2006 ive changed bulbs one time and 2nd bulb still going strong.

I have a Sanyo VPL Z4 Im considering selling it as well but it is due for a bulb any tiem saw them for $159 on Ebay.
