tea party poetry?
James Madison Poem
by Peter Flom
The "father of the cons ution"
Was president number four.
He was a politician
But he was also more.
The political philosophy
That dominates our land
Was the work of many men
But he had the biggest hand.
Some Federalist Papers
Were written by him
And so we are one nation
Together - sink or swim.
He also wrote the Bill of Rights
Which so protects us all.
Among our founding fathers
James Madison stands tall.

A wonderful bird is the pelican,
His bill can hold more than his belican,
He can take in his beak,
Food enough for a week,
But I’m damned if I see how the helican

wrong; eloquent shakespearean poetry.
reminds me of this gem:
"My Mother"
by Jack Byrnes
You gave me life,
You gave me milk,
You gave me courage.
Your name was Angela,
An angel from Heaven,
But you were also an angel of God,
And he needed you, too.
I selfishly tried to hold on to you,
While the cancer ate away at your organs,
Like an unstoppable rebel force,
And now we'll meet in Heaven,
And I shall see you
Nevermore, nevermore, nevermore.

Why would it be Tea party poetry? Do you not bellieve in freedoms?
Which freedoms are these paranoid, duped, ignorant tea baggers missing?
