It's per year. Not the entire total of the contract.
I dont know about the nba salary stuff some one explain please, how does
43 million like miami has sign 3 max players?
It's per year. Not the entire total of the contract.
Max is about 16 million per year. They are trying to clear Michael Beasley's salary which is about 5-6 million. If and when they do that, they would have 48-49 million in cap space.
I think they have more to clear out to afford three max contracts. I think they're currently at 43 so you'd have to add Beasley's salary to that if they can move it. As great as three top tier free agents could be, I'm not sure how far they're going with Chalmers, three second round rookies and some MLE and D-league filler.
Since they are under the cap, they won't have the MLE.
Really amazed by the Heat, they can pretty much run the league for the rest of this decade if the cards fall into place.
Thats a big IF.....???
not necessarily.
signing 3 max players is such a good idea, in this league you need depth. Lakers even had trouble winning the le this year with Kobe Gasol Odom Bynum and Artest.
are you comparing kobe gasol odom and bynum to d wade lebron and bosh all on the same team?
They don't have to sign 3 max deals if they don't want to. They can fill out the roster w/ some good talent w/o paying luxury tax.
where is my money ho you better give me 25 out of that 50
Yeah I thought about that later after posting. They've just got second round picks and minimum contracts to put around those guys.
