thnx for sharing
Although DeJuan Blair is no longer a NBA rookie, he still finds himself a busy man. We caught up with him recently after a hard workout at the Spurs' practice facility and asked him what he's doing this summer to improve his game.

Thanks for posting.
CompletelyDeck is everywhere.
Can't wait to see him in the summer league, even though iirc he was gonna pass on that and stick to improving his game.
Great Guy! He Will Be A Very Good Player in about 2 to 3 years when his game Develops A Lil more...
I believe the front office didn't think he needed to play in the summer league and wanted him to focus on individual workouts--but Blair wanted to play and convinced the front office to let him. (This is from memory, so I could very well be misremembering the account).
Here is the article:

Initially, the Spurs were leaning toward keeping Blair home to focus on individual workouts. Blair, an NBA All-Rookie selection last season, had other plans.
“He wanted to play,” said Dell Demps, the Spurs' director of player personnel and de facto GM of the summer league team. “The one good thing about DeJuan is he wants to get better. For him to want to come play in this, I think it says a lot about his commitment to getting better.”
