This guy is an idiot. Has he been suspended before? If he has, then I see him being out the whole year. If not, then he should get half the year.
Assault is only a one or two game suspension. I'm just going off the Fidel scale of dog fighting, attempted rape, and manslaughter by car and the penlaties they accrued.

We'll see if this is true, but have been told by a league source familiar with Cedric Benson's case that it is "very minor."
