The annual free agency ritual has always been ridiculous, but it's completely out of control this year. I thought my tolerance for self-absorption and narcissism among professional athletes was pretty high, but even I'm kind of sickened by the behaviors of this year's free agents. Anyone else feel this way?
Nope, don't really care since no team in the West is going to grab a premier FA unless Johnson and Boozer are considered premier FA's. This has always been a star-driven league especially after Bird/Magic, MJ, AI, etc.
I'd rather there be a media circus where teams are on the phones all the time than shady deals halfway in the season like Pau Gasol to LA
