It's about trends. The Spurs are working on being offensively inept 5 of the last 7 years in the playoffs. The personnel changes, but the offensive trends remain the same.
People say I'm a Pop hater, I've never wanted him fired before, just to get someone in here that treats the offense as something other than a time to regroup for the next defensive possession.
This is a ing joke that we're letting Seattle do this to us without Rashard and Vladimir.
Oh, and if you held a gun to my head and asked for a name: Flip Saunders, although with our talent I imagine Phil would be waiting on our doorstep.

I'm just getting tired of us squandering year after year of the Tim Duncan era because Pop is so tight in the ass offensively that it puts all the pressure on 1. our defense to be perfect and 2. our outside shooters to be perfect for things to work out.

There are two capable coaches out there, love it or not:
Flip and Phil Jackson.
I know Pop won't get fired, but it's obvious his offense sucks in the playoffs. Think about it. If it weren't for Jaren Jackson and Elliott in '99, and Buckets and Kerr in '03, this team wouldn't have ANY rings.
That's the fatal flaw in Pop's offense - you have to have two guys get red hot for the entire playoffs from the three point line to have a chance. Pretty low odds, if you ask me.

On offense, you get a lot of turnovers when teams know the three plays that you run forwards and backwards, and you've been playing them for two weeks straight.
I know Pop won't get fired, and deep down I don't want him fired, I just want him to acknowledge his offense sucks harder than Jenna Jameson on location and bring in someone who can draw up something besides a pick and roll and 4down for the playoffs.
But he won't. The goats are already lined up - Big Dog, Rasho and Barry. Glenn will be let go, one or both of Barry and Rasho will be traded, and we'll come back and have the same problems next year.

Look, I don't want Pop fired in reality. But if he can't adjust his offensive shortcomings, then he needs his feet held to the ing fire.

And I just threw out Flip's name for the of it. In reality, Phil would kill to coach Tim, Manu, and TP together.
I would not at all be against Phil Jackson coming to the Spurs.
Phil is waiting and hasn't made a decision yet, but I guarantee you that if the Spurs approached him, he'd take the Spurs Headcoaching position before the Lakers or Knicks.
Spurs are in great shape capwise and I think Phil Jackson is a better "Playoff" coach.
Phil Jackson is also a better motivator, something that the Spurs lack.
I agree as well...if the Spurs lose this series Pop should go back to Management.
