Since US media refuses to ever acknowledge the real salaries in Greece and never admit how much they really are.........

Greek League will now start reporting the gross salaries of players like how NBA does it. For example US media says Childress makes $7 million in a season in Greece.

Greek league will now start reporting the same way NBA reports salary in gross. For Childress the new salary will now be listed as $13.86 million per season.

Also they are discussing how to figure in the agent fees, cars, houses, and expenses into salary because in the NBA none of this is paid for.

Greek League is tired of having the salaries of the players in Greece extremely downgraded by US media and NBA fans and will start reporting salary same way NBA does so that people in US media cannot distort the wages anymore.

Also, Greek league will report both the net and gross. Unlike the NBA which refuses to publish any net incomes for any players. Greek league will report net and gross and agent fee added in so that Americans and NBA fans can see by comparison.

So they can see how little of NBA contracts would actually go to the players. This way Americans will start to understand how high the pay in Greek League is compared to NBA.
