I'm not sure but that's why I'm asking... Is Splitter now available to get some time in the summer league to get a start on getting used to playing with a few of the guys? Or is everything with that final?

Technically, Splitter could play in summer league ... but he won't. He has a honeymoon to finish and then will begin practicing with Brazil for the WCs.
Honeymoon in Vegas! Play in the evenings. Problem solved!
if i were Pop and even if Tiago doesn't have to play in the WC, i wouldn't play him the summer league. i'll have him locked up in the practice gym and drill him on the team's playbook pronto.
We already had two players roll their ankles in a ten minute span.

Rolled ankles today should not be a problem for next season in Oct/Nov, so I think you're freaking for no reason.

Exactly. There's not anything that he needs to add to his game that requires full contact.
Summer League refs call the game a lot differently than NBA season refs do anyways, so that's not really a selling point either way..
Splitter doesn't need to be in summer league. He needs to be hanging out with Tim Duncan.

Splitter's $$$ had to come out of the mle. There's about $2.3 of MLE left, an LLE worth $2.08 and vet min.
splitter gets a pass to play for brazil but tp does not?
rc is on record that he will talk to splitter regarding that issue.
splitter did take less money maybe we could let him play in brazil and recurity players here like manu did with oberto
