    Iirc the NBA assumes I want to keep getting LP, so they'll be billing me for next season. Please everyone tell me how wrong I am.

    It depends on your cable/satellite provider. In my case, with DirecTV, I have the option of automatic renewal or manual renewal. You should call customer service and find out.
