Report: Miller reconsidering offer from Heat
Word out of Las Vegas is that Mike Miller's deal with the Heat is not secure, and that teams are advising him to consider not joining the team.
Miller says the deal is not done and it now sounds like there's a chance he won't join the Heat. We still think they're the favorites for his services, but it's not yet a done deal, and Miller could end up elsewhere. Mike Miller isn't a fool, he's not passing this opportunity up. Not just for the rings, but for the fact that with his ability to knock down shots, and the number of open looks he's gonna get... He has a real opportunity to make himself into a legendary player there. (Obviously not Michael Jordan legendary, Robert Horry role player legendary.)
He should consider himself one of the luckiest people in the world right now tbh.
I'm just glad he's finally on a winning team.

Now I'm starting to think some Pat Riley backroom deals are in place... I see this as a smoke screen. Miller announces he's not satisfied so he won't sign the contract...this gives Riley an opportunity to sign Raja Bell by dipping into some of Millers cash...after that's done Miller signs for 3.5 million a year to help Raja out...and it's the ing chess move of the day...
