I hope he signs with the Heat, would be an even more scary team
T-Mac might be ready to sign with the Clippers seeing as he's getting zero interest now from the Lakers and the Heat seem have yet to offer a contract. After stints in Orlando, Houston, and New York...his 4th team might be the "Other" LA team.
Tracy McGrady: T-Mac may be ready to sign w/ Clippers
Tracy McGrady - G/F - NY - Jul. 14 - 9:25 pm et
Tracy McGrady is getting a serious look from the Clippers and could be ready to join the team.
He would like to join the Heat, but the Clippers appear to be more interested now that Travis Outlaw is in New Jersey, and they could use some scoring punch off the bench. The Clippers have swung and missed a few times this summer, and many Clippers fans are probably hoping T-Mac, who has played in just 65 games in the last two seasons, doesn't become their first 'hit.'

T-Mac wants to go to the Heat but they are yet to offer him a contract and the only thing they can afford to give him anyways is the veteran's minimum. The Clippers want to use T-Mac as scoring punch off the bench which T-Mac has been reluctant to do in the past.

there's a reason noone wants him...even the Heat. lol
nah dude, HEAT need to offer him a contract. they must be worried about team chemistry or something like that. maybe they think Tmac would be a cancer on this team. maybe someone doesn't like him.
aside from that, T-Mac for the veteran minimum?
lowest risk possible but the reward is very high. if he can provide 10 quality minutes off the bench, the HEAT would be ing golden.
if he can't play, or gets injured, so the what. vet minimum salary and it was a good risk to take. we needed to fill out roster anyways.
What an idiot he is if he has to sign with the Clippers because he blew it with LA.
