Could sonics comeback be good for Spurs?

Maybe its good for the team as it gives them a gut check like DEN did in rd 1. i mean i'd honestly love for SA to sweep through till we face PHX or DAL but maybe a little adversity is good for this team, because you dont want them to coast through the playoffs only to hit a wall agaisnt a team that has been truly battle tested in the playoffs while the Spurs had a hard time taking it to that next level due to weak compe ion

I don't think it's good at all.

The biggest flaw I see besides FTs for the Spurs are mental toughness.

This is not the 1st time either. It's a staple of our characteristic & our coach. Not saying Pop is mentally soft, but I think one of the biggest flaws in his coaching is his lack of ability to fire up a team to be mentally tough when they have to.

Last year, we were up 2-0. Then they tied it 2-2. Then the miracle shot at 0.4.

I just get the feeling that Popovich sometimes does not motivate the Spurs in a way that makes them mentally tough in games when they need to be.

Even last year when we were down 3-2 after starting 2-0, we just laid down for game 6.

That was one of the biggest, if not the biggest collapse I've seen from a Spurs team before my eyes.

I think if the Sonics win the next game, I'm sorry, but I do think the Sonics will win the series.

I'm not "jumping off the bandwagon". There's a difference between being an optimist and being a realist, and reality says if the Spurs lose 3 in a row, they are doomed to repeat the same trend as last year, especially with game 6 in Seattle on the road...something the Spurs have been terrible at.

I'm still trying to figure out how TMac beat the Spurs in that one game. If it was going to happen to a team, I guess the Spurs were the team for it to happen against.
