The two party system is e.
Ron Paul's General Badassness on full blast.
Wild Cobra, this post was also submitted specifically for your education.
You really think so?
Let me educate you.
Paul is awesome. However, he only lives in the here and now. He has a point about past meddling, but they will not leave us alone if we stop, and we do as Paul says.
The damage is done, and we have to respond to current conditions. Not past, unpolluted conditions. We cannot pretend the past does not influence today, because it does.
The exertion of American military might harms America when it is done without complete justification in the eyes of the world community. And the sustained military presence around the globe is going to bankrupt our country, now more than ever.
If we cant afford social programs, how can we afford the occupations that are ongoing, from one administration to the next? We cant without crippling our economy, and harming the taxpayers through the inflation that follows massive borrowing and printing money out of thin air to pay for it. And the government is not being honest with citizens about the spending and printing that is going on at the Fed Reserve.
You have that backwards.
If we cannot afford to defend our nation, how can we afford social programs?
We cant afford either, dumbass. We're broke.
But I guess we're never to broke for a conservative repub to beg borrow steal and counterfeit in order to spend a few trillions of government money on guns/arms!!!! Ye-hawww... now lets go find some heads to split...
That's why we reduce or stop spending on the one not authorized by cons ution first. Right?
I have for the last 20 years or so advocated that we should never run deficits except during recession or war. As much as I don't like deficit spending, I will not criticize it for those purposes. Bailouts and tax credits are entirely a different thing, and I do speak out against them.
Believe it or not, we agree on many things. You are just pitifully stupid about them, the root cause, implementation of attempted fixes, etc. of them.
If the war is perpetual, it is not war. It is big govt.
Still, if you manage to take the government out of this Jihad, you still have a holy war against us. Are we to wait for them to come on our shores, or should we fight them there?
The holy war stems from the fact that we are over there in the first place. Why would we insist on perpetuating the image of American imperialism and then claim that because we are under attack we must occupy foreign shores? Would you be justified in occupying your neighbors yard because he keeps assaulting you every time you come in it?
And is it worth bankrupting our country to do so?
ANSWER: only if your profiting from it. The US is not, but certain folks are. You take it from there.
The crusades will never end by leaving them alone. It is a Holy War to them. We can completely pull out, and they will still attack. It's in their nature, and interpretation of religion.
You realize that it wasnt long after Afghanistan that the Soviet Union crumbled? You think we can win a damn thing over there?
What we are doing is about disrupting the likes of the Taliban, and other radical racist/religions groups that want to attack us.
same folks in the sights as the soviet union....I for one believe if we dont turn back with this imperialstic approach we will crumble under the weight.
Fine. We disagree. I say we will crumble over social spending that doesn't hold our own responsible for their own actions. The deficit we incur for war isn't anything compared to the cost of lazy people getting other peoples money.
You know this statement is wrong. You know what the numbers look like on all sides. they dont support you and your views. inconvenient. inconvenient enough to lie.
