The Clippers do have legit interest in McGrady and are scheduled to work him out Tuesday. As Clips general manager Neil Olshey told ESPNLosAngeles.com’s Ramona Shelburne last week: "Tracy and I have a good relationship. We've known each other for a long time. He and Baron [Davis] have a good relationship [and] we obviously have a need for playmaking and scoring on the wings.” But sources say that news of the workout being made public was also intended to let the Bulls know that McGrady does have other options, since Chicago is where those close to McGrady say he’d love to land.

I don't understand why no one wants him. This guy scored 25 + ppg for 7 straight seasons before injury. IMO if he is back from injury he may not be the same scorer as he was but he can possibly put up 16+ ppg.

Bulls should go for Josh Howard instead of Tmac, who will be on the bench in street clothes within a month of starting the season.

Kind of makes sense for the Bulls, LeBron went to Miami and T-Mac at this stage in his career is a poor mans LeBron, which if the Bulls decide to sign him is better than nothing. If it doesn't work out he can always be waived, worth the risk if he can recapture some of his game.
