Hedo was playing well in Sacramento. He came to the Spurs and went cold. Then he went to Orlando had a breakout season. Barry was playing well in Seattle. Then he comes to the Spurs and goes cold. There seems to be some kind of Spurs curse when it comes to bringing in supposed "pure shooters".
It did take Steve Kerr one year to adjust to our system.... It would be unfair to judge Barry on one season... though I will admit I've been disappointed.
My disappointment stems from the fact that he doesn't look for his shot and passes up open looks. This is especially obvious when Parker isn't penetrating enough....
I wouldn't go as far as saying Hedo>Barry.... I don't see Barry missing multiple wide open layups in the same game.

Yeah, Barry has been disappointing this year and didn't live up to expectations. I don't know if he'll be back or not but if he is back, he better have a big year next year!
I really feel bad for the guy - you know he wants nothing more than to bring the Spurs what they need. You can tell he's totally discouraged.
