west would have been attractive considering it would have cut 5 million in salary once he was waived. otherwise i dont see a trade happening. i dont think other teams have salar cap room left, and if they do i dont see them taking on sasha's 5 million just for the 1st round pick

i don't buy it ..... dude has one year left on his contract. Basically, this is a contract year for Sasha. Why would the Lakers want to move him and take on a new contract when his loot comes off next year?

LA isn't trying to take on a contract. They want either a trade exception or a player they can buy-out, hence the Delonte' West interest.
I could see Minny doing that deal. They are about to buy West out but don't have any salary concerns. Kahn could get another 1st round pick to up. Win-win for both teams.

Did Luke Walton get the full MLE for 5 years? What about Sashs.. was it 3 years?
Luke Walton is owed a little over 16 mil. His contract runs out in the summer of 2013.
Sasha is due around 5.5 mil this season, then his contract comes off the books.
If Kupcake can move Sasha's contract and convince Luke to retire, on top of the moves he's made this off season, then he's a freakin genius.
