Re: Spurs vs. Sonics Game Five: Who Will Lead The Spurs In Scoring?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs 104
Sonics 82
Manu will lead the team in scoring with 30 pts in 3 quarters. 4th Q will be garbage time.
I called it tonight, yes?
33 after 3.

Manu 39 points,6 assists and only 1 turnover
4th quarter wasn't garbage time and you were off with your score prediction.
1/3 predictions correct, not to bad.
All you're getting for this is a kluby.![]()
Damn Good Jimbo!!
Yes, but that 30 pt prediction trumps the other 2 misses.
BTW, I only missed the Spurs total by 1 point...not too bad.

I am going to tell you guys why I knew this would happen. See if you agree with me on this.
Manu is one of the few athletes in sports that once mad or discouraged with his or his team's play will always come back strong to make ammends.
TP will go into a funk and play even worse sometimes, especially in the playoffs when he gets down on himself. Sometimes even TD will think too much, especially at the FT line and get worse.
But Manu, when they interviewed him on Monday was steaming mad, you could see the fire burning in his eyes. I just knew that he would lead the team in scoring and I knew he would have a career night from his past history.
He is the MJ of this team, when he is sick or mad, you better just watch out.
He was not goijng to allow this team to lose. I think last year, he still was not comfortable enough to lead this team, he was probably wanting to defer to TD or even Hedo who was put ahead of him in the starting rotation. But now, he is comfortable in his leadership roll and he is ready to go to the next level, if he has not already.
I am looking for him to lead this team to victory on Thursday, and TP better be there to help, because they need all 3 to close out that series on the road.
