That's an understatement, in fact... I would've been better without this thread.Granted, these are a little lame, but they're meant to be. It's still summer and not much going on.![]()
Raise the bar.
I was thinking about Dejuan Blair's game today and I have to admit that I'm still impressed by him, even after a year of seeing him play. He's being passed up by a lot of people looking for the shiny new toy to play with, but I think in his second year he could become a major contributor to the team. Not only that, but I think he's got a higher ceiling than a lot of us are giving him credit for.
So then I thought about if and when he becomes a starter a couple of years down the road. Is he worthy of picking up any big name sponsors? I'm thinking maybe something like this would fit:
Dejuan Blair sponsored by Marvel Comics:
and then maybe this:
Dejuan Blair: Music Promoter

Hey cool man, thanks for the constructive criticism. Let's see then, let's rehash the SF position. Or maybe lament the re-signing of Matt Bonner or RJ. No no, I've got it, how about I start a thread instead about a proposed Tony Parker trade?! Hold on, this is even better. While I've been stationed here in Iraq, I saw a 19 year old kid playing the best defense I've ever seen at the SF position and I'm wondering why the the Spurs aren't going to pick him up?! Or maybe I can just re-post an article that somebody else wrote. Which would you prefer?
No music for DeJuan Blair. He can't even do well with autotune.
That's funny -- I thought Blair qua T Pain was the strongest part of that track. It was the MCs that were clowning themselves.
