Rodrigue Beaubois broke his foot in a practice session with the French NT. He won't be at the Worlds, that's for sure, and they aren't sure when he will be cleared to play again...
Tough one for the Mavs.
Mavs
This is what makes scares NBA teams.
And Mavfans didn't want to give him up for joe johnson or lebron

My sympathies Mavs fans, we had to deal with a similar problem with Mahinmi. At least you don't have to worry about tha... er, my sympathies.
How long will this keep him out of the NBA regular season? Yao missed the whole season, but that was after surgery of some type. Is he out for the year?
I hope nothing happens to Splitter, I'm gonna be pissed
I'm sure he didnt need a wheelchair

that sucks, at least the season hasn't started, so even if he is out for a while won't be bad for Mavs, I'm sure they'll live I mean they do have vets on the team
Alex Garcia broke his foot once and was never heard from again...

See Mav this is why you don't get excited over foreign first year players that show promise against lower-tier teams their rookie season.
That foreign-born aspect will always come to bite you in the ass. Broken foot means automatically he's not going to be normal for like 9 months. If it requires surgery he won't be the same until next season. Even then, with the foot, it's possible it becomes a lingering issue.
I'm surprised more of you Mav sexuals did not anticipate this, being loyal Spurstalk posters you should have seen it coming.
Is a metatarsal really that serious to warrant a 9 month recovery period? I broke my 2nd, 3rd and 4th before but I was fine after a month or so.
I guess it depends on which tarsal because the docs said that the 1st and 5th were holding my foot
What's the recovery period for him?
I´m having a good laugh right now - oh so poor Roddy.
Around ~30 mpg + regular crunchtime appearences...its going to be a great season.
