What's the best dance club on a saturday night in SA?
Best as in really good music, decently priced drinks and women.

Taco Cabana is usually the most packed place in SA on a Saturday night.

That place is closed, plus it's not a club. I've been going there since I was 16 going on 28.
Old friend of mine is now the resident DJ at Ivy Rooftop on Saturday nights. It is out at 1604 near NW Military. He keeps telling me to come out there, and how bad ass it is...
Not really my thing these days, but it sounds cool from how he describes it.
Chachos has that place beat. You have to wait in line just to get in the building if you get there after 0200.

The Industry used to be a good place to go. But they changed their Sat music linup to Thursday nights. And La Salsas on San Pedro seems to be packed these days after hours. I was there last Saturday after some drinking at the Webhouse. Good food.
The Webhouse is a bit of a hipster bar, but the drinks are cheap and strong as (for us liquor lovers) so I can't really complain. Small too, but there's seating outside.
There's no Taco Cabanas in LA... So how do you know about those?..
I've never been in LA. Just from SA, and have family from LA. Die hard Lakers fan, though.
Depends on how much you want to spend...
if your on the North-side and got $$$ go to the clubs near Stone Oak like Silo, swirl or area thirty-one and the Bubble room....Downtown...my personal favorite after-hour chill place is a little bar in the Havana hotel where you can enjoy scotch and cigars (w/ Humidor) plus good friends....the martinis and drinks are good at Swirl and there is tons of music to choose from depending on your taste all over...coyote ugly, maddogs, Dirty Nelly's, SoHo
if your $$ go to Stonewerks, or Houlihans, Sherlocks, The Ivy Rooftop, Pat O'brein (dt), The Boston Bar, the Scout Bar (Live music), Bonds 007 (live Music),
if your $ go to Andro, Club Rio, Chueys, The flying saucer, The Espana Bar on Hausman, the Lion and Rose...Casbeers (Live Music)...

Damn dude, did I know you? I was a regular from 2001-2005. You knew Chuck and Carol? I heard they were just selling the place and opening up a new one across the highway where all the action is now. If so, that would be pretty cool.

I haven't been to a night club in 5 years at least.
You won't be dancing at the Ivy. There are small spaces to dance, but plenty of girls. The target demographic is probably like mid 20s to early 30s. Northwest preppy ex-cheerleader who hasn't moved outside of 10 miles of her parents home is really who you will find. Not that that's bad.
Parking is . Horrible. Area 31 is there and the Yacht Club as well. If you don't get there by 10:30 you'll be following people to there parking space.
Drinks aren't cheap, but aren't super pricey either.
Area 31 is down the way a bit from the Ivy. It's a way different crowd. I mean, whatever. It wasn't my scene. It's more of a hoochy dress wearing beer drinking, I want to get laid crowd, so perhaps that's more your scene. The Ivy is ore of a "I might want to run into someone from high school" crowd. PS, the guy at the front at the Ivy's name is Roy.
