just happened about 5 minutes ago:


Dustin Johnson had about a 6 foot par putt to win the PGA Championship, but missed, so now there will be a 3 way playoff

As I was typing that , they are reviewing if Dustin Johnson grounded his club on his 2nd shot and he might be DQ from the tournament, anyone know the rules on grounding your club?

ouch he got a 2 strike penalty, for his 2nd shot because he hit his first shot in this odd location and Johnson never even thought it was a bunker or hazard when he went through his normal swing routine, based on the replay, and didn't think twice about it.

Well glad he didn't make that birdie to win the tournament , that would have been a huge blow, thinking you won the tournament, get the crowd loud cheers, then find out you got a penalty 2 shots added to your score.

Yup. I gotta say, that is some BS. How can you allow the gallery to stand inside a bunker? Just rope the bunker off and this is all avoided. Extremely unfortunate.
