i bought this game a couple days ago. i know it's old (2 years), but man what a game. i had always heard about it before, but now that i've got the time to play it, i decided to pick it up. only about a handful of games manage to hold my attention every couple of years. this has done more than that. one of the best games ever for me so far.

so did any of you play this game?

Yeah. I loved it for the first 80 hours. Loved it.

It's one of the few games that I'm going for a complete gamerscore on. And that 's a . Chasing Steel Ingots, downloading Operation Anchorage, getting to level 30 with bad karma, these are all things I don't want to do, but I will someday.

Have you played Oblivion? It's even better. IMO.

yeah, New Vegas looks great. i just don't know... similar thing happened to me with KOTOR. i played the first one way after it came out, also thought it was extremely good. KOTOR 2 came out soon after i beat it, but i'd just got done with the first one and didn't feel like playing a simialr game. i bought it anyway, but couldn't get through it...just had enough of that type of game. i might wait a while after Vegas comes out that way i don't lose interest in it.

new vegas is looking good. i like that vegas is a full on civilzation. sometimes in fallout 3 it was too much of mutation and . i absolutely loved watching the new weapon the c4. you can put c4 inside of peoples pants. this video i saw he did it to 4 people , then stepped back and pulled the trigger and boom! flying body parts.

I loved Oblivion. It was the first game where the bloom effect was really noticeable for me, and it looked great. I played it all the way through.
That said, I like the post-apocalyptic scenario better, and Fallout 3 really left me wanting for more.

I had more fun with Oblivion, but once you play Fallout, it's hard to go back to Oblivion. With the bad leveling and graphics.

Hint: Just get to lvl 30, save, and shut off any autosave. Then go around killing everyone. When you get to lvl 30, it will unlock the achievement, and you can just reload your "good guy" game.

Oblivion is fun, I still download mods for it..... but Im more of a post-apocolyptic guy.

I guess its just the fact that its closer to what reality might be than Oblivion ever could be with all the magic and crazy creatures.

Fallout made it feel more personal. More realistic.

I absolutely LOVED Fallout 3. I'm in a second playthrough as an evil character. Try Borderlands if you like Fallout. I JUST defeated Knox.. not a hard as I thought it would be. Only took two tries
