that would multiply the problem. imagine all the time wasted on each side arguing the ethics of said donors.
As we all know, our congress people are owned lock stock and barrel by corporations and special interest groups. Their loyalty is bought and paid for with campaign donations.
I propose that effective immediately, all senators and congress people be required to wear coveralls with all their sponsors logos shown along with the amount they donated. Just like NASCAR, largest donor gets the back and chest...all others get proportional representation depending on how much they donated.
Is this an idea that both sides could support?

I support this idea.
i think this is something most will agree on
Perhaps Uncle Sam could sell naming rights to national landmarks.
The Coca-Cola Washington Monument.
The GE White House.
Mount Rushmore at General Dynamics Park.
etc...
Just think of the visuals at the State of The Union address...![]()
Naaaa...It's already the SEICU White House...
I'm down with this idea.
A great idea, but won't ever happen, when Repugs are blocking Dems' efforts to neutralize the radical, activist, Repug-stuffed, right-wing SCOTUS' ruling that corporate "persons" can buy without limit politicians and their campaigns.
It would be a nice reminder that corporations are more important than people.
Of course, it's ironic you would support this because it's always the republicans that support corporations having as much influence as possible.
that's true...every time a corporation is attempted to be held accountable for damaging the environment, putting out a dangerous product, even supporting lobbying rights for corporate person-hoods.....there is the GOP taking up its cause
Obama blasts GOP for keeping voters ‘in the dark’ on political ad buyers
President Barack Obama Saturday urged Republican leaders in Congress not to block a bill aimed at reducing the role of big corporations and foreign en ies in domestic elections.

Corporate "persons", esp Wall St, can buy politicians and campaigns in complete secrecy and now without limits.
Again, a knee jerk stereotype. Typical from a shallow intellect like yours. Grow the up and realize that ALL politicians are owned by special interests despite the "label" they wear.
All of 3 branches are corrupt, but the Repugs are the only party that is proud of being "business friendly", even when business is anti-citizen, anti-consumer, anti-patient, anti-environment, anti-employee, anti-jobs, anti-American.
The defense of Repugs that says they are no worse than Dems is no defense, and of course is just another Repug/conservative lie.
lol boutons how the can you be anti-business friendly and be pro-jobs.
Which successful businesses are anti-consumer? Damn you are butt-hurt son.
Strawman, delusional, and stupid, but at least expressed coherently.
I like the sponsor idea.
I also propose that they can only spend so much cash each session. The drivers have limited fuel capacities. Shouldn't congress as well?
