Middleweight leholder Anderson Silva's next fight will be a rematch of his last one, the head of the Ultimate Fighting Championship says.
Chael Sonnen will get an immediate sequel to his Aug. 7 bout with Silva, UFC President Dana White tells ESPN:
Although Silva pulled out the victory in the final round with a triangle choke, Sonnen outwrestled and chipped away at Silva for most of their fight at UFC 117.
I think I'll be less nervous about this fight, whoever wins it deserves to win it. But there's no doubt that even if Silva wins, I think his fights with Sonnen will mark the decline of him as the force we saw destroying everyone in the cage. He's getting old, and there's a good chance he's gonna get beat up more.
