Wow. That's crazy. If I were in a wreck I'd be more afraid of what the air bag would do to me. I've read it's ideal to have yourself about a foot away from the airbag. That would help a little. I always want to roll my window down and tell that old lady or person they're sitting a little too close to it, but oh well. It's their face and internals.
