Moon.
Born in East LA
Better Off Dead
Saw this on netflix a few nights ago. Definitely an excellent film.
i went and saw nacho libre when it first came out. i left the theater feeling depressed, sad for some reason.
Nacho Libre was pretty damn good, I just discovered it within the last few months and I like it alot.
Moon and Better off Dead probably can't be called underrated since people generally have good opinions about them. Can't wait for the spiritual sequel to "Moon"!
Yeah Nacho Libre wasn't all that funny to me.
Of movies in the last 10 years or so, I think a movie like "Boondock Saints" is pretty underrated, even though it gained quite a bit of a cult following. Also, I really liked "Kung Fu Hustle" and I'm not sure how well received it was by critics and fans.
Nacho libre did suck. And I thought both Boondock Saints and Kung Fu Hustle were both good.
Solid choice.
It's a bit of chick flick, but Return to Me with David Duchovny and Minnie Driver was great. The supporting cast was great too...with Bonnie Hunt and Jim Belushi playing Driver's hilarious married friends and Carroll O'Connor as her dad. It was O'Connor's last movie role before his death.

The Zero Effect
I thought Nacho Libre was funny and yeah, the nun was hot.
City of God.
It did get more of a following than most foreign films in the US, but still most people in the States either don't know or just don't care about movies where they have to read sub les. If you haven't seen this you should give it a chance. You will not be disappointed.
Shaolin Soccer>Kung Fu Hustle
If you haven't seen it.. it's a must! Hilarious film
Is not and has not ever been underrated
not good or funny. Almost as bad as that jack black movie where george costanza has a vestigial tail.
Cheech, good pick![]()
It did poorly in theaters, so yes, it was a very underrated movie. Only when it was realeased on video back in the late 80s, has it developed a cult following. I still watch it and still love it.
Here is another one...
The Phantom
A superhero movie that came out before superhero movies were popular. It really deserves a reboot like the one batman got. Hopefully he will get it soon. Yes, I expected much more action and fight scenes, but still it was great movie.
