I have 3 pairs of Kobe V's.
The All stars (in my avatar in the back)
ID's (the yellow one on my avatar)
ID's (Black one...UPS says its arriving tomorrow. lol)
ID's are custom made ones.
I like these shoes cuz its comfortable....balling and just for casual. Easy to slip on...lightest bball shoes ive ever owned. I know some who get about 7 shoes but i cant afford that. haha

As for appeal, I guess its a hobby. I try to get the limited edition ones so not alot of people have seen it before. When i go to Foot locker, even the employees look at the shoes like "WTF, ive never seen those".

I've loved the previous kobes.. I tried the hypermax last year before the v's and hated them.. these look pretty sick ill probably pick them up also

As for the thread, I agree that the Kobe V is a great basketball shoe..the weight is outstanding and the low top gives it a unique kind of look..however, I couldn't buy these, even after trying them and being impressed, because they are associated with Kobe Bryant..I just can't support that..
Luckily I still have King James' Air Max VIIs to go with..
I stick with the Hyperdunk TBs too, I didn't like the new ones..
I got a pair of Lebrons VII's too...good shoes....made for bigger guys imo cuz of the air max. I still like the light weight of the Kobe's...definately made for a slasher. Both still good pairs.
I have yet to burn my Lebrons though.

Kobe V is the greatest basketball shoe ever made. But I think I liked the look of the Kobe IV more.
Not really digging the look of the new one tho, and tbh if they sacrificed any performance that's a huge mistake, but I highly doubt Kobe would allow that.
Bingo...i highly doubt they'll get rid of flywire. I like the look of the 4's and the 5's equally. I think i like the colorways of the 5's better though. These rumored 6's looks more like the 4's imo.

Actually it will have Flywire and they will actually be lighter. The Flywire pieces will have holes/gaps in them thus making the shoes lighter.
