Durant will be there, Iggy will be there (proved his worth on D)... who else will be there in London for the Star-Spangled Banner? Don't think Kobe will be there. His body and mileage probably won't allow him to. Billups and Odom are done. They're 30-somethings and they already got their gold. The South Beach talents will most definitely play in 2012 IMO but they might think of kicking LeBron out because the USAB honchos hate him for his at ude. But he'll be there because he's too talented to pass up.
I imagine a guard rotation of Deron, CP3 and Westbrook... damn.
Despite what they've talked about having a yearly commitment, hard to see Team USA not let LeBron, Wade, Dwight, Carmelo, Bosh, Chris Paul, Amare, and Deron Williams play if they wanted to play. That's the core. That should be the core. Durant might be the only guy on this past squad to be on the 2012 team.
If Kobe wants to play, he'll play. Kidd was 35 years old in 2008. It won't be a matter of age. If Kobe wants to play, they'll gladly have him on the squad.
I could see possibly Westbrook, Gordon, and/or Curry being considered as well. But hard to imagine they'd take any of them if the team already has the guards set with Wade, CP3, Deron and possibly Brandon Roy or if Kobe wants to play.
A couple of names that I think might be guys that could make the team are Tyreke Evans and Brook Lopez.

D12 / Amare
With Kobe, might drop Roy. Then they could use a three point specialist like Curry or Gordon and a versatile defender like Iguodala or a big like Lopez.

I may agree with dat...there's no court in the US in which Wade starts over Kobe...Even now Pat Riley would sit Wade in Favor of Kobe...

agree. But the truth is that it's Durant's team now. Lebron won't want to play 2nd fiddle in FIBA, he is already playing that in the NBA.
Imagine Durant shooting with some actual playmakers creating the looks for him.
Why not? He was 2nd, 3rd, or 4th fiddle in 2004, 2006, and 2008.
