That play was absolutely huge. It completely stopped the momentum that the Sonics had and allowed the Spurs to keep close in spite of the fact that they played like crap.
I have a bunch of rocket fans that are making james sound like Shaq II I want to find out if anyone has a gif of Duncan blocking James dunk in the first few minutes of the game

How many times the fans yell "bull " when the Sonics
got rejected? I was waiting for that play just to Shut Jerome james the up.
"somebody give that man a trashbag."
I haven't seen a GIF, but here's a nice photo from the Seattle P-I.

Fantastic pic, too bad it's so small. Can't let it get be so pale, needs more contrast and dramatic color!

I've always wondered how dangerous it is for the blocker's hand to get scrunched up agasint the rim, maybe his wrist bent back over the rim. Anybody know of such injuries?
Can such a block ever be called goal-tending?
It can't be goaltending because it hasn't left the shooter's hand?
fantastic pics. Spurs basketball at it's finest.
That might have been the most monstrous block I've ever seen out of Tim.
I agree. That block was the most exciting play of the game for me. I was extremely pumped after that.
I seem to recall Dave breaking his hand on the rim one year, and I think it was while he was playing defense. He missed the playoffs that year and Antoine Carr had to start at center.
