With the teams still trying to work out the particulars of a four-way trade that could send Anthony to New Jersey, Anthony has yet to agree to sign a contract extension with the Nets. For their part, the Nuggets are not sure they want to accept the offer that is on the table.
Anthony could still decide to make a long-term commitment to New Jersey and end his time in Denver. But if he declines, the Nets would not agree to make the deal and, unless another trade materializes, Anthony will remain with the Nuggets.
