The question came casually enough. One reporter in the gathered Media Day scrum asked Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich his choice for biggest offseason acquisition, between Manu Ginobili’s twins, Tiago Splitter and James Anderson.
Coach Pop’s response was anything but casual.
“Jacque Vaughn.”

Seems he is a respected guy, hopefully he can coach alot better than he can shoot. Wish him luck here.
If they are serious about making Georgie into a point, that may be what JV is for. Although all of your young guards could stand to learn a lot from him.
pop feeding an ego nugget to jacque vaughn. remember when he tried doing that to the centerpiece? it didn't work very well.
If he didn't like his potential as a coach, he would not have hired him as a coach.
I trust JV wont be the political, backstabbing, control freak that AJ was.
i could see vaughn being a head coach in the nba some day
