Terrible decision by Gardenhire to stick with Liriano that long as he struggled through the 6th. I understand where it came from, but it was a poor decision, given the way the game had gone to that point.
Unfortunately, it's not the first time he's made a bad decision in a playoff game against the Yankees.

Twins miss Mourneau's bat really really badly.
Typical Yankee win though, outlast their good starter and beat the inferior bullpen.
It's not like the Twins were supposed to win this game anyway, good try though. Now is where the series gets interesting with the Yankees starting pitching...
