I don't know what cheese it was... but I went to some restaurant on san Pedro called old san Francisco steak house. The put some huge block of cheese on our table and explained how it was finely aged and from place or whatever. That cheese was the worse and stunk like dirty sweaty gym socks.

Some French cheese. God, horrible smell.

Ive never eaten this, but I think this cheese is the world's most smelly dirty cheese. It's called Casu Marzu. It's a cheese from Southern Italy and it's totally rotten with worms/maggots in it. When they open the cheese, all the maggots jump out of it.
In most EU countries this cheese is forbidden.

Manchego - a Spanish sheeps milk cheese. Flavor was actually well developed but the smell made it unpleasant. Smelled like mildly fermented toe jam.

Good cheese usually stinks. Even common cheese like parmesan and asiago smell horrible but they're great in a lot of dishes.
