Why were the reporters asking more about Manu's thoughts on crime in Mexico than the current state of Spurs basketball? lol.
I like Simmons saying he is going to study some Bruce films. Lets hope he can show some progression in the pre-season.
wow im starting to think simmons is a lock to stay here, i mean he looked legit in the open practice and now with him actually wanting to study bruce film ! the centerpiece, udoka had too much pride therefore they would never watch bruce tape , but it seems like we have a real compe or in simmons.
with his unfortunate mishaps he ran into some bad luck the past few seasons and i it seems like hes talented&smart enough to carry out pops demands combine that with the chip on his shoulder from people forgetting about him and i think we may have our starting three

Huge props to Simmons.
He just comes from a $46M contract and he is now fighting for a roster spot without guaranteed money. He was also a good offensive player that is ready to turn into a role player. Not all the players are ready to make that kind of sacrifices.
