Not having homecourt works to the spurs advantage this time as long as we don't let it go Seven. Spurs can put a ton of pressure on the Suns by winning just one game in Phoenix and daring the suns to beat us in SA. I am predicting just that. The Spurs will win game 1 lose game 2 and take the rest. Spurs just match up well against this phoenix team, as opposed to how they matched up against Seattle. Seattle was just a touger cover for the Spurs.

Tony will have fun playing againgst the league MVP. He will enjoy being the underdog again.

I think this is going to be a 7 game series. Phoenix is too good to get dominated the way Denver did, and I like them a lot more in close games than I do Seattle. I think the Spurs break Sarver's chicken-wing and make him cry in his own house.

I'm also on the Spurs in 6 wagon. I just think defense will be the key, and in that game or two where its a barnburner, Tony and Manu have proven that they can lead the Spurs charge.

You guys predicting Spurs in seven realize that there's only two ways that can happen:

    1. Spurs up 3-2, then come back and lose game 6 at home, then go to PHX and clinch.
    2. Spurs down 2-3, then win last two.

Neither of those are fun scenarios. I'll have to go with the rest of the lemmings and say Spurs in 6.

If Duncan's ankle sprain limits him this could be a short series for the Suns, not even going 7. With a relatively healthy Duncan, suns in 7.

As a die hard Suns fan i think the Spurs are the better team this year and will likely win the series in 6.
They will split the first two games
    Spurs win two at home
    Suns win Gm5
    Spurs clinch in Gm6

It'll take JoJo a few games to get back into rhythm, but if we steal on in SA it'll go 7. I'll be posting throughout the series :-D. It's great that i could join this board, unlike those sissies at Mavtalk.com who shut down registration.

BTW, for everyone who says the Suns are soft? It's been said all season, but what people don't realize is the Suns play a bend-but-dont-break defense. They don't commit fouls and will step up the "D" to close out a game in the last 4-5 minutes of a game.

Also, the season series could have easily been 2-1 Suns had they not blown that 17pt 4th quarter lead. It's going to be another fun series to watch.

Hey, props to an objective Suns fan. I think it wil be a close, hard-fought series. I'm looking forward to entertaining basketball, instead of having to watch Manu getting flagrant fouled everytime he goes to the hoop

Hope the Suns continue their clean basketball ways, and we have a fast, fun series.

It says it at the top of the poll. Until 3 pm Sunday, when the first game will begin.

BTW, Who are these crazies betting that Spurs will SWEEP the Suns?!?! This is the WCF, we took Seattle to 6 games--barely, it could have gone to 7, and people actually think we can sweep the Suns w/o HC advantage and simply because they are "soft" and don't play defense? Well, that style of playing somehow earned them the best record in the NBA and a trip to the WCF's. You should never underestimate the ability of an MVP to carry his team--just ask Duncan.
